Windows 10: I have updated my graphics driver but in reality it has not been updated, please help.

I have an IntelR IrisR Xe graphics driver. I have updated, uninstalled and re-installed the driver multiple times only to find that it is still the same driver version from 2021 version 30.0.100.9864. I was unable to screenshot the driver information in the device manager. I have an Acer swift laptop.

Windows Mixed Reality Compatibility

Seems that there is a concern with the graphics driver, which is not tested for mixed reality feature and this information is provided by the mixed reality portal.



While researching on the graphics card that is installed on the PC, should be compatible. However, we would suggest you to update the NVidia graphics card from

Device Manager and check. If the issue persists, then uninstall the driver completely from the Device Manager and reinstall it freshly from the NVidia website.

Mixed reality- graphics driver wont work with mixed reality

When i plug in my Lenovo explorer mixed reality headset, my PC will not install the drivers for it, after this I downloaded the mixed reality pc check app and it gave me the results that my graphics driver wont work with mixed reality, it says my graphics
card is fine though. Is there a way I can fix this problem, I have updated my drivers and still get this, it also says my windows 10 isnt up to date, i have checked for an update but the windows update says that windows is up to date. Is there a way to fix
this or am i unable to run mixed reality?

I am running a radeon rx 480 4gb, 16gb RAM, i7-7700

• What exactly happens when you launch the game?
• Do you get any error message?

I request you to try the following steps:

Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
Drivers

• 
  Right click on Start menu.
  
• 
  Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  
• 
  Search for the Graphics Card
  from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
  from the computer.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
  

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.
