Windows 10: Why does Counter Strike 2 cause so many problems with Windows 11?

I am trying to play Counter Strike 2 and it has been unstable for about 6 months now. Previously it ran just fine on my Windows 11 system.The game will freeze at random places while playing and this introduces a variety of problems:1 The CS2.exe process cannot be terminated by closing the window from the menu bar.2 The task manager does not respond to mouse movements after it is launched so I cannot select the process and terminate it.3 Sometimes there is a dead black video region in the upper left corner of my screen. counter strike join server problem

What you should to do fix the problem is the following:

1. Open up your steam games list
2. Right click on Counter Strike Source and go to Properties
3. Then go to the Local Files Tab
4. Then press " Verify Intergrity Of Game Cache"

I would also recommend doing this with all your other games. Its definitely not a problem with your router, but with a file in your Counter Strike folder, this will repair it. Good Luck and Happy Gaming *Smile
