    I'm having the same issues as described in this thread.Keyboard skips freezes repeats characters mouse hangs - Microsoft CommunityIt comes and goes, and hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol happens with multiple kb / mice and these same mice / kb work on other systems ok, so definitely a system issue. Interestingly, I also have a B450'ish motherboard. Asus Prime B450M-A II updated to latest firmware I've run sfc and dism scanhealth no issues. I've tried uninstalling various drivers / etc. but just wondering if there are tips specifically where to look. I may try a reinstall of the OS using recovery.

    Mouse lagging, keyboard repeating keys even when not typing.

    Sticky keys are turned off for the keyboard.
    I'm on a laptop, I have the touch pad turned off currently. Recently I went into Hardware manager and disabled / uninstalled all mouse drivers except the one that I need for the Logitech mouse. My mouse is setup as suggested.

    Hi,

    One reason why your mouse and keyboard is not working is because of an outdated driver. We suggest that you update the mouse and keyboard driver by following the steps below:

    • Pres Windows+X key on your keyboard.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Locate the mouse and keyboard drivers, right click, then click on Update.

    Keyboard repeat delay and repeat speed

    Hi Joseph,

    I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver. Follow the steps to uninstall & reinstall the keyboard driver from device manager.


    • Press Windows key + X from the
      Keyboard       and click on Device Manager.

    • In Device Manager, double click on the
      Keyboard.

    • It will show you the device driver name, select that device and then right click on it.

    • Click on Uninstall button.

    • Restart the computer, the drivers will get automatically installed on your Windows 10.

    • Repeat the same for Mice and other pointing devices.
