My question is:I've got a Dell Lattitude 5490 laptop and have run the PC Health Check telling me it's ready for Windows 11. When will I be able to download and install Windows 11 using Windows Update?

OK, you can check the health of the battery yourself to see if it is a Windows problem, a battery problem or a charger problem

• Shut down your laptop
• Start your laptop
• When you see the Dell logo, repeatedly press the F12 key until you see text like 'Preparing advanced boot menu'
• Then you will get a list of options
• Select the bottom option - Diagnostics
• This will run a set of diagnostics on the hardware of your system - it takes maybe 5 minutes to complete
• If your battery or charger is defective it will let you know
• When asked to perform advanced memory tests at the end, don't bother

Please let us know what the Dell Diagnostics reported and also the exact model of your Dell Laptop . . .

MS PC Health Check tells me "Your organization manages updates on this PC"

I'm running Windows 10 and wanting to update to Windows 11. So, I downloaded the MS PC Health Check tool to see if my PC is compatible with it. However, when I run the Health Check app and click "Check now", it just pops up with a message saying "Your organization manages updates on this PC". What can I do to fix this problem? Is there some setting I need to change to be able to be able to let it scan my PC? I even tried running it as the admin and got the same error.

I tried the alternative WhyNotWin11 app and it told me my CPU was incompatible with Windows 11, so I'm concerned about trying to update now, but I would much rather Microsoft's app tell me than a 3rd party app.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
