Windows 10: Why does my keyboard, specifically around the y-m keys+ the emoticon keys, keep making...

Hello, I’ve had my computer for about 2-3 months and its keyboard has randomly started making clicking/sizzling noises. I don’t know what it’s doing it but it’s specifically around the y-m keys, [ to / keys and also the enter/shift keys. Please help cause this is annoying me lol

make an option for emoticon key on keyboard

I purchase the lumia 900 and overall I'm very happy with it. My suggestion is to make an option in the settings under keyboard for 'show emoticon key'. Most people don't use/need 50 smiley face options, and I'm perfectly fine with typing : and ) every
once in awhile when necessary.



I'm left handed, and use my left thumb to hit the space bar when texting/emailing. About 50% of the time i accidentally hit the emoticon key and start typing all sorts of smiley faces, then have to hit the backspace key. I lose about 5-10 seconds every
text message.



I came from the iphone 4s so I guess I'm just used to the space bar being bigger and more centered.

 

[SOLVED] Budget keyboard with QUIET keys and/or small keys? Business or gaming.

UPDATE: after some suggestions on various keyboards, i ultimately landed on the suggested keyboard named CHERRY STREAM 3.0 - and wow! what an a-m-a-z-i-n-g keyboard this is!! the feel is just great, the keys fit me so good, it's even more quiet than apples keyboard, they keys are as small as they should be AND it was surprisingly CHEAP compared to other keyboards! and nice bonuses (for me): it contains USEFUL shortkeys/media keys which i use frequently. the quality feels stunningly great, which again results in the keyboard being rather heavy comparing to my other "old" keyboards, not that it's such a bad thing, tbh. the only but yet so small negative thing i can point out with this is the fact that the lighting for the lock-buttons is VERY bright, so when you are watching a movie, they certainly are making its strong shine. i do believe there might be a way to fix that, though. i just havent gotten that far yet. OVERALL: this keyboard is the BEST keyboard i've had AND tried so far for my purposes! probably one of the best all-around keyboards there is under $50. totally worth the blind buy i did, and i have suggested the keyboard to my friends who are also looking for an excellent keyboard, which is what cherry stream 3.0 is! totally recommended and worth the wait!!

 

Keyboard keys switched


After the latest windows insider update some keys on my keyboard have changed. For example " is now @ and the opposite as well. Meaning if I want the @ key as in a email address, I must push the " key. I cant seem to find a way to reset to default. The normal keyboard default does nothing. The other changes are listed below, the errors are in bold red;
