  1. Windows is not seeing my SSD, but Linux is?

Hello Everyone!I recently got a new 1tb SSD for my Workstation. But when I connect it to the SATA port on my computer, It doesn't show it. And the weird part is, when I boot into a Linux live installation, Linux sees it. I made sure it was formatted as NTFS, but still no results. It doesn't show up in Explorer, Disk Management, and even diskpart. I booted into a Windows PE environment and still not showing up. It also sees it in the BIOS Does anyone knows how to fix this?Regards,David

    :)

Guide: How to enable, use, and configure SLI on Linux.

I guess the next logical step would be to report on the performance you can get with SLI in Linux. That'd be my suggestion anyway.

  3. SSD stops and freezes laptop

    Couple of updates:

    1. I created a Linux boot USB key, and monitored my SSD under Linux, so this is evidently not a Windows issue, and
    2. I loaded new firmware for the SSD, and my system seems to be functioning normally now. What a pleasure using a PC that doesn't consistently freeze up.

Thanks to all y'all for your suggestions!

    Regards,

    Dave

    Switch to Linux ??

Find a suitable Linux forum and request comments from people who converted from Linux to Windows, in particular on
