Windows 10: MY PC Sometimes Freeze when loading into windows

Hello so, few weeks ago i upgrade my PC by change GPU for new 7800 XT and buy new AiO water cooling H100i.After that my PC start freezing when loading into Winodws. Sometimes it freeze like 3-4 times and after it load up just fine. Some days i can boot my PC absolutely fine for like 5-6 days. Sometimes it freeze when loading desktop after it unfreeze after it freeze agin and i need restart.When PC load without freeze sometimes it wont load my GPU. Im back at 60HZ and cant change resolution and i have yellow triangle in device manager that say it need further instalation or something.When PC lo

Friends computer freezing at windows loading screen

Ok my friend is having problems with his computer right now. Basically it crashed on the windows loading screen. This is what he told me on MSN.

Now i'm not too sure what the problem is. I suggested doing a repair install with the xp disk (i'll be giving him that tomorrow) but in the mean time do any of you have any ideas?

 

Work PC freezes while loading Windows

Nearly every morning when we switch on the main work pc, it freezes before loading Windows. Occasionally some mornings it doesn't do it. Other times, we have to power it on and off some 5 times before it decides to work properly! This has been going on for weeks now.

Usually it freezes on the password screen, either before or after inputting the password.

Once Windows loads, the computer works perfectly. It even crunches all the time at 100%.

I've tried several things now:

- memtest
- scanning for viruses (including with malwarebytes).
- repair using the Win 7 disk.
- sfc /scannow which found everything ok.
- ccleaner.
- the full version of Registry Mechanic.

(I wouldn't want to do a fresh Win 7 install because then we'd have to re-install the accounting software as well and it'll be expensive since for security reasons the seller doesn't distribute diskettes and passwords..*Roll Eyes )
