Windows 10: Unable to change Display Resolution on my Second Monitor

I am facing an issue related to Display Resolution on Win 11. My Second Monitor doesn't support 2K or 4K. But when I connect this to my laptop Having Nvidia Control Panel and choose Second Screen only for Display. The resolution shifts to 2K and I am unable to see anything because my Second Screen does not support this resolution, hence I cannot correct it. Is there any way I can change this resolution?

I understand that you are unable to change the resolution of the second monitor;

What exactly is the model and manufacturer of your graphics card?

Before answering the above question I suggest you try to decrease the monitor's refresh rate;

When lowering the refresh rate check if the resolution of the second monitor can be changed;

Changing resolution in second monitor

Thanks for this. I installed the appropriate driver for the Acer B193W monitor.

When I go to Display in Settings, however, it doesn't recognize the second monitor. It just shows the laptop monitor.

When I click on Multiple Displays in Settings, it does show DIsplay 2. But, there's no way to change the resolution. It shows the same resolution as on the laptop monitor, without a way to change it for display 2. Advice?

  Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?

  To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
