    Like its blue screen 2 times and get watch dog viation. Cannot update bios or smth. Sometimes random black outs. Help pls.

    What is a Microsoft UPPS file?

    I'm trying a new realtime antivirus since yesterday.

    If I set it to "Detect suspicious files and warn about system changes", it notifies me periodically of this:

    "Modified Folder
    Folder: C:\Users\ [me]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\UPPS\ File: UPPS.bin [Time of day]"

    This occurs several times per hour. It does not occur when I set it to "Detect suspicious files" which is omitting "...and warn about system changes".

    I've tried searches but can't find an explanation of what the UPPS folder is and what sort of system change the antivirus is observing.
