Windows 10: Why is Click Once taking 6 hours on new Win 11 machine?

We recently purchased a couple new PC'sHP Elite Mini 800 G9 DesktopWin 11 Pro 23H216GB RamWe have a program that we use Click Once Deployment to install on users PC's. On a Win 10 machine or Win 11 22H2 machine it takes 20 minsOn these new machine win 11 23H2 it takes 6 hoursThe prerequisites are already installedAny ideas what may be causing this LONG install time?

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

Moving from Win 7 to a new machine with Win 11. Is there an ap I can download that will tell me which software will work on 11, and which will not? I'd rather know ahead of time.

 

Upgrade after building new machine to comply with Win 11 system requirements

Thanks Carlo but I don't believe you understood my question. My machine running Win 10 does not meet all of the spec requirements to upgrade to Win 11. It makes more sense for me to build an entirely new machine since I'll need a new motherboard, processor, etc. My question is...if I'm building a new machine, will my Win 11 upgrade still be free even though it will be a new install on a new machine? My license for Win 10 is current and active on my existing machine but as I said, I'll need to install Win 11 on a whole new PC.
