Windows 10: Cancelling old subscription and How have you accessed my new debit card details?

I replaced my laptop on November 25th 2024. 365 is all set up and running. My old laptop subscription expires now. As I do not receive an email or invoice on the subscription, I had no idea how to get intouch with you to cancel it. The payment is geing taken today from my bank. I have just seen the forum and signed out of word.1, I cannot see the "devices" so I can remove the program completely. Where is this?2, I had a new debit card issued in the same month. I thought, Microsoft might try to take the payment and contact me when it failed. But, somehow, Microsoft has obtained the details of

Trying to cancel subscription

Have been trying for weeks to cancel my subscription but the cancel button is missing. I ended up closing my debit card I had used for this subscription because it's ridiculous that it should be this difficult. Please cancel my subscription.

 

Cannot add a new debit card, due to it having the same number as an old one.

My old debit card recently expired, requiring me to add a new payment option. However, my new card has the exact same card number as the old one, but a different security code. When I try to add the new card, it auto-rejects it as it has the same number
as one it already knows. When I go to edit the old one, it won't let me change the security code, just the expiry date. When I try to remove the old card, it won't allow me to because I have an XBOX Live subscription active. It tells me to turn off auto-renew
if I wish to delete it, but even after I have done this it still won't let me remove the card, saying the subscription is still active.

Is there any way for me add the new card / remove the old card without having to cancel my XBOX Live subscription?

So I am not sure about this but I believe that if you set up a new payment option and choose credit card (assuming debit card is not an option) and input all the information it should work. Make sure the following is true:

• your debit card must have either the Visa or MasterCard logo on.
• Your debit card cannot have restrictions on subscription-based internet purchases. If you are not sure whether your debit card has restrictions on subscription-based Internet purchases, contact the financial institution that issued the debit card.
• You must have more than one dollar in your debit card account.

Give it a try and see if it works ...
