    Any idea about this crash error? Frequent issue


    I recently built my pc last week. After getting all of my drivers up and running, I experienced frequent crashes for anything from loading up a game, to just logging into my pc. Crashes are inconsistent as well, with them being either screen freezes, BSOD, or just a force restart. The crash reports are not appearing in my Minidump. In event viewer, the most recent crash is labeled as follows:Kernel PowerEvent ID: 41 Task category: 63 I don't know if the details tab is necessary, but it is: -Provider[ Name]Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power[ Guid]{331c3b3a-2005-44c2-ac5e-77220c37d6b4}EventID41Vers

    Frequent BSOD issue Asus K53sm NVIDIA 630m Windows 10

    I would guess that your GPU is faulty, the crashes that are most frequent seem related to the GPU.

    I do have a suggestion, although this suggestion is more often seen with 0x9F crashes where drivers are in an inconsistent state for the OS.
    Try to change the powerplan, standard there are following plans
    1. Powersaver,
    2. Balanced, standard selected,
    3. High performance
    If you didn't change your power plan, you have balanced selected.
    Select High performance and see if it makes a difference.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Frequent game crashes. Driver issue ? RAM ?

    Edit- From your manual here. Make sure BIOS is using default settings and auto settings. For testing: Turn off hyper-threading. Chose two cores instead of four cores in the CPU via the BIOS setting. Turn off Execute Disable Bit. Turn off the Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch. Disable the Intel C-State. Have no idea what the CFG Lock is, but try turning it off/on for testing. Disable the EIST. Disable Intel Turbo Boost. Disconnect all peripherals except mouse and keyboard.
