Windows 10: Why are my headphones quiet when my microphone turns on.

Okay, I'm having trouble being able to hear like any sound whether it is music or anything. I make music and I have my on personal mic and also have the mic that is on my laptop, when I have the headphones unplugged everything sounds fine, the music, my voice and everything sounds normal, but when I plug in headphones the bass is not there the everything is more quiet then at "1 volume". I've looked in settings, try reset permissions on google but nothing. How do I fix this?

One of the possible reasons why you're unable to hear anything on your headphones' microphone might be a misconfiguration. To help you configure your headphone settings, follow the steps provided below:

• Press Windows key.
• Type Sound and Enter key.
• Click on the Recording tab.
• Right-click on the Microphone then, choose Properties.
• Click Levels and increase microphone boost to +10 to +20 dB and try again.

Windows 10 Conexant SmartAudio HD Microphone is quiet

Hi guys, I have an ASUS Windows 10 laptop and my microphone is very quiet when I speak on Skype and other stuff.

I tried with alot of headphones with microphones and a new microphone, Still very quiet but people still can hear me. But very quiet.

Is there a fix or a solution?
