Windows 10: Weird problem when i try to sign into my pc

I've been having this problem and its occurred once in the past but 2 times within the last 2 days, whenever i get to the welcome screen it will show the default windows program icon instead of any background, and when i press enter to actually sign in, my screen just goes like greyish black, i cant do anything while this happens, but when i wait like 3 or so minutes it will go back to the welcome screen, and the only way ive had to combat this is force shutting down my pc, which i hate doing

Weird BSOD problem


Hi Everyone,

I have a weird BSOD problem which I cannot solve for a while(it persists still after upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7)

The main strange thing about this is that I get BSOD only after cold boot.
So it acts like this:

1. start PC.
2. Get to Windows Logo Screen
3. BSOD
4. Restart
5. Get to menu where I can try to repair or Start NormallyIf I Choose Repair, it will fail to repair and will try to restoreIf I Choose Start Normally, it will start OK, no BSOD, can work normally, games, browse internet, everything is normal.6. Shutdown PC
7. Next time when I start is all over again i.e. Go to Step 1

I have this problem for a while, so what I tried:

1. Another Windows 7
2. Another HDD
3. Only HDD connected
4. Changed RAM
5. Tried with built in GPU
6. Upgraded to Windows 10

Result is the same as above every time.

Please suggest what could be the cause.

PS. This thread is a continuation of this one: Frequent multiple errors BSOD. Solved - Windows 7 Help Forums the only thing changed is Windows 10 now. instead of Windows 7. If that helps somehow.

We understand how frustrating it could be, when you are not able to login to the PC after changing the password. In order to get clarity
and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

• 
  What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• 
  Did you reset the password of the Microsoft account or the local account on the PC?
  
• Did you try entering the password using the onscreen keyboard?

If you have reset the Microsoft password and used the same Microsoft account to login to the PC. Then in this scenario, we would suggest you to plug in the Ethernet cable to the
PC for a wired internet connection and then sign in for the first time. Once signed in, then you can switch the network to Wi-Fi and check.
