Windows 10: Roblox making a sound then closing after a few minutes

Hi! when i open my Roblox it makes a sound like the one when i forget to click cancel when saving a screenshot, And the first time it happened i noticed that the usual text i see "checking for updates..." isnt there and the bar thing with the roblox text on it looks like another bar is ontop of it, and the bar's color is white but my desktop colors are pink and light pink, and then it closes after a few minutes, im not doing it but its doing it. ive been struggling with this for 5 days : please help out!!

2. Run Troubleshooting

Run Roblox as administrator: Try running Roblox as an administrator. right-click on a shortcut to the Roblox application or client and select "Run as administrator".

Compatibility Mode: Try to run Roblox in compatibility mode, you can find the compatibility option in the properties settings of the application.



3. Update drivers and operating system

Graphics card drivers: Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers may cause the game to run erratically or not start at all.

Windows Update: You've updated Windows, which is a good place to start. Make sure all updates are installed, including any optional updates.



4. Check firewalls and antivirus software

Sometimes a firewall or antivirus programme may incorrectly prevent Roblox from running. Check your firewall and antivirus settings to ensure that Roblox is listed as a trusted application or has the appropriate exception rules.



5. Reinstall Roblox

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 currently installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the PC?
  
• Does it happen specifically with Roblox games or any other app?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

However, before proceeding with the below steps, we would suggest you to sign out from Microsoft Store and after performing the steps sign in with the same Microsoft account.



Step 1: Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.



Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.



Step 2: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 3: Reset Roblox app

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Roblox app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.
