Windows 10: Why is Hyper-V causing my laptop to reboot randomly despite having Windows 11 Home thus...

My LOQ 15ARP9 gaming laptop is having a reasonably infuriating issue after startup. Typically, within 30 minutes of launch, with no issues, it randomly shuts down and restarts. This is an issue ONLY present while running on battery power, and when plugged in and charging this problem hasn't happened once. I am getting an error with event id 7000, which says that "The l1vhlwf service failed to start due to the following error: A hypervisor feature is not available to the user." If I'm on Windows 11 Home, which means hypervisor features are nonexistent, how is it that they're causing a service t

Hyper-V VM keeps randomly rebooting itself?

So I'm using the Hyper-V manager to run a separate instance of Windows 10 under Windows 10. For some reason, it just randomly reboots itself, while you're in the middle of work. No warnings, no dialog that it's about to reboot, it just reboots with no warning. It's not a failure, it goes through the steps of properly shutting down the VM, but it just gives you no choice in the matter. Any idea what could be causing this?

 

Firmware update or hyper-v causes automatic repair loop everytime

Actually some machines can receive Firmware updates through Windows Updates. As for the reboots, I would also look at Secure Boot getting fouled up and clearing that option to reset it. The Hash may not match when it reboot causing these errors.

 

How Do You Start The Hyper-V Manager After Installing Hyper-V On Windows 11 Pro?

I have a Dell XPS 8930 running Windows 11 Pro. Virtualization is enabled in the BIOS. I installed Hyper-V using Programs and Features, rebooted, and the Hyper-V services have a Startup Type of Manual (Trigger Mode). However, when I search for "Hyper-V Manager," no application is found. I know the Hyper-V manager is managed through an MMC snap-in, but I don't see a relevant snap-in to add. Also, Hyper-V Manager is not listed under Windows Tools.
