Windows 10: Im trying to leave my family group bit it just keeps saying "something went wrong refresh...

Leaving Family Group

hello, i have been trying to play a game but it says im in a family group. i went to check the family group app and it shows that im an organizer and that im the only one in the family, and so i tried to leave but there was no option for me to leave even though ive looked at all the solutions possible. i downloaded the app on my phone and i checked the settings of my app and there was an option to delete my account, does that mean im deleting my whole microsoft account or im just deleting my account off of the microsoft family?

 

How do I leave a family group after the "Something Went Wrong" response?

I have been invited to use a Microsoft 365 Family subscription, and I would like to do that. When I click Join Now, Microsoft tells me I need to leave my current family group before I can join a new one.

When I follow the instructions on how to leave my current family group, I am given this message:

Something went wrong

We’re having trouble and can’t remove Joe from your family group right now. Refresh or wait and try again.

I have refreshed. I have waited. I have tried again. And it is still not letting me leave my current family group.

I want to leave my current family group and join the new one I have been invited to.

 

Why is there an error when I try to leave my family group?

In my family group (note: im not under 13), it's giving me the option to leave, so I put in my google password to continue with the action and press continue, but an error message pops up saying something went wrong, please try again later. No matter what I do, it won't work. Is there any way this can get fixed?
