    Greetings,As said in the title, I'm experiencing windows hang issue with black screen and I need help about it. It seems to occur at random since I can't replicate the hang. When it happened, the screen turns black, no signal on the monitor, but the audio still plays, the LED debug on my motherboard still show AO, num lock still responsive I press it on and off, caps lock too, and after about a minute, the audio starts to crash plays a loop af the last "frame", num lock unresponsive, and then the system restart. Sometimes I can boot normally after the restart, sometimes it happened when it

    Windows 10 install problem with a black screen and hangs

    Original title: WIndows 10 install problem

    Left Windows 10 update to install overnight last night.

    In the morning it appears to be hanging on black screen with Windows 10 logo and circling dots (dots are frozen and not moving).

    Hard drive activity light is solid green and not flashing on and off.

    Suggestion and/or next steps would be appreciated. Thanks

    I will try all this and let you know. - - - Updated - - - Looks like one of my post got missed out. I checked the Windows Reliability History and it gave me some clues. There is what I found on my reliability history right around the time I got the black screen/hang issues (screenshots below).

    Intermittent black screen/hang while doing random tasks

    I ran Crystal Disk Info. I do not see any errors. See attached images. What kind of events I should be looking for in the Event Viewer logs
