Windows 10: Title: Laptop Wi-Fi Randomly Disconnects

My laptop’s Wi-Fi randomly disconnects during downloads. Even when I switch to different networks, it still occurs. Reconnecting takes a while. Has anyone found a solution? Thanks in advance!

Wi-Fi disconnect

Windows doesn't disconnect a properly working WiFi. Mine NEVER disconnects since the last time I restarted my computer. I suggest to check for near-by WiFi radios to see if your channel is too crowded or if all the channels are crowded, just switch to 5 GHz band like mine

2. Change Wi-Fi Band:
   
   • If your router supports it, switch your Wi-Fi connection to the 5GHz band instead of 2.4GHz. This can reduce interference since Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz frequency.
     
3. Disable Bluetooth Collaboration:
   
   • Some network adapters have a setting that helps with the coexistence of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Go to Device Manager, find your Wi-Fi adapter under the Network adapters section, and open Properties. Under the Advanced tab, look for 'Bluetooth Collaboration' or a similar setting and disable it.
     
4. Adjust Bluetooth Power Settings:
   
   • In Device Manager, under the Bluetooth adapter’s properties, in the Power Management tab, uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
     
5. Change Wi-Fi Adapter Settings:
   
   • Similarly, in the Wi-Fi adapter’s properties under the Advanced tab, you might find settings that can be adjusted to improve coexistence with Bluetooth devices, like changing the "Wireless Mode" to a setting that might be more compatible with Bluetooth enabled.
     
6. Check for System Updates:
   
   • Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date with the latest patches and updates as they can contain fixes for such issues.
     
7. Troubleshoot Hardware:
   
   • Try connecting your AirPods to another laptop to see if the problem persists. If it does, the issue may be with the AirPods themselves. Conversely, try connecting a different Bluetooth device to your laptop to see if it causes the same problem.
     

If none of these solutions work, it could be a deeper issue with the laptop's hardware or a unique compatibility issue between your specific model of AirPods and laptop. Windows 10 disconnects Wi-Fi randomly, Ubuntu on same laptop doesn't

Hi community, I am facing a pretty silly bugs with my wi-fi connection on Windows 10. Basically, Windows just disconnects from my home wi-fi (just a few devices) randomly, sometimes every minutes, sometimes 15 minutes. Sometimes, it re-connects automatically, sometimes I have to do it manually. When it happens, I am just surfing social network. I feel like when the connection is lost, the Wi-Fi menu is laggy. The video can illustrate the problem (at around 0:05, 1:05, 2:16) My system information: Dell XPS 9570, latest BIOS and drivers (checked by SupportAssist from Dell), Windows 10 21H1, build 19043.1165 (Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0) The Wi-Fi analyzer from Killer Control Center. (mine is "Wifi Nguyet Minh")

--------- What I have tried: 1. Running dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth 2. Resetting network by going to Network and Sharing settings > Status > Network reset 3. Uninstalling network driver (intel Killer 1535) and re-installing with Dell version. Actually, windows automatically re-installs exact driver version from Dell (12.0.0.1118) 4. I have Ubuntu dualboot and the network works like a charm. 5. Trying with another Wi-Fi in my house (weaker signal), problem still happens. 6. Resetting my modem (and I have to setup my WAN connection again), choosing static channel (channel 1), 20MHz bandwidth Hope to hear your solution or something to trace back the cause other than re-installing my Windows.
