Windows 10: Windows Remote Desktop fails after disconnecting and reconnecting a few times Error Code...

I have a RDP connection set up for one of my windows machines remotely that doesn't seem to work anymore after I connect a couple of times. Remote desktop disconnects after few minutes & will not reconnect

I have been using remote desktop for years without any issues. Several weeks ago after a windows update I cannot use my remote desktop outside my internal network. It works fine in the home & I connect with my ipad using mobile remote desktop. but when
Im at work I can no longer use it.

It will connect at first when I turn on my pc at work for just a few minutes, then I get the message lost connection and it will not reconnect. If I try to reconnect it says cannot connect to remote computer.

Now the fact that it does connect means that my settings are correct, I forward port 3389, I use NoIP ddns, that's working just fine as well.

What causes it to disconnect & not allow me to reconnect?

I would greatly appreciate any help, I really want to get this solved, in the meantime Im using Team Viewer but I prefer remote desktop.

Remote Desktop Connection error

Hi,

Today I tried to connect my Android phone to my Windows 10 PC via Remote Desktop Connection and I've constantly encountered this error:

"Because of a protocol error detected at the client (code 0x1104), this session will be disconnected.

Please try connecting to the remote computer again."

I tried listing all the network connections on Command Prompt and to my disappointment, failed to find any trace of port 3389.

If you think you can fix this, please help.

Remote Desktop Login Failed

I just purchased a new Windows 11 system and I am using another Windows 11 system on my laptop to access the system through remote desktop and I get an error that says that the login failed. Something in the new Windows 11 system is blocking logins from remote desktop:

• I am using my standard Windows credentials to login locally. I have Administrator rights to the system, and a local login works fine.
  
• I can use Remote Desktop to login to another similar Windows 11 desktop using remote desktop with the same credentials and that also works fine.
  
• I've enabled Remote Desktop access in settings and specified my account as being authorized to login with Remote Deskttop.
  

I've gone through all the support articles I could find on the internet on this problem and I implemented the group policy fixes that have been recommended but it still hasn't resolved the problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
