Windows 10: am i doing something illegal? Selling PC without Licence

I work on a business where I assembly computers personal computers, ram, hdd, sdd etc etcMy boss asked me to install windows on each computer, which I do using the W10 who is available in the Microsoft site.But then I keep thinking... is this illegal? am i going to be in a problem? am i going to jail?The computers don't have a Licence, I just download the ISO from the oficial microsoft site and then install it in the computers when a client buy the PC.

That could well confirm that Microsoft are no longer selling licences for Windows 10.

Your screenshot shows a reference to an organisation which suggests a volume licence. These type of licences are used by businesses to activate many devices belonging to them that connect to their domain, it is not intended for personal use. (actually illegal)

Another point is that those type of licences are not available for Windows 10 Home. It would be using a hack of some sort that has now ran out.

You can search an Amazon for a Windows 10 Home licence/product key but don't be tempted by cheap keys as these will probably be rejected by the activation server.

Because you have a full retail licence then you can transfer that licence to a new PC

Before you sell that laptop, here are the steps to remove your Windows 10 licence form that laptop

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Paste this into Command Prompt and press Enter

slmgr.vbs /upk

When that command completes, close Command Prompt

That's It, that will remove your Windows 10 licence form that laptop . .

 

How to correctly sell/give Windows 10 retail version to someone else?

Good evening,

I have Windows 10 Home retail (full) licence that I purchased almost 2 years ago when I was building my custom PC.

Now I consider to move to another machine that has Windows 10 OEM licence bound to it.

If I will do it, I would like to sell my old PC (possibly in parts) I would like to sell also my Windows 10 licence as it will be not needed anymore.

My questions are:

Will be enough If I will do factory reset on my Old PC and than instead of logging in I will format HDD?

Will be product key free up than?

Will be enough to give envelope with pendrive and product key to the buyer?Will he be able to use this product key?

If this is incorrect please write step by step guide.

I was searching for answers, but everything I found was related to OEM products - how to transfer OEM licence between accounts when selling device that's bound to it. I know that most of people are using OEM licences, but there is also some with full licences,
and they need some support as well.
