    I’m running Windows 10. I have a playlist of songs, and I recently converted the .wma files in that playlist to .mp3 files, deleting the wmas. I then edited the .wpl playlist file with Notepad, and changed all instances of wma to mp3. I saved the file and double-clicked on it in File Explorer, to play the list. WMP could not find the files: it was still looking for .wma files. I went back and edited the playlist file and saw that all the .wma changes I had made had been changed back to .mp3. I tried this a few times, to make sure I hadn’t messed something up, but it became clear that it was

    For now, you may also follow this steps on how to find which Playlist a particular song is placed:

    • Click on one of your Playlists.
    • Go to the Search box, and then type the title of the song.

    If the song is on that particular Playlist, it would show up.

    If the song is not on the Playlist, you would get a message: There are no items matching "Title of the song" in this view.

    N900's Media Player playlist problems

    a bit of a random question, but with my n97, i can just create playlists on windows media player, and sync the playlist to the device to only copy a playlist of songs, and then that playlist will show up in the playlists in the media player on my n97.



    is it possible to do the same thing with the n900? or do i really have to follow the steps listed previously in this thread?

    Saving playlists in windows media player

    I am trying to add a playlist in windows media player. I have several from my time with windows 7. I add the songs to the playlist and try to save the new list. I would type in the name and I would get "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while creating
    or saving the playlist." I have tried many things and I have looked at the suggested fixes but I have no idea what to do.

    Any suggestions that can help?

    I know I ask a lot but I try to help.
