I'm not good with computers but I will try to describe what I've already done. I have uninstalled the driver and restarted the computer, I tried to update the driver, I updated my Windows as a whole, I restarted the newtwork, I went to the ASUS website and downlaoded the LAN network driver, I've done all I could find on the internet already. I don't have a backup of my computer to fall back on so that's not an option. I need other ideas of what to try with clear instructions, becuase I'm at a loss and my computer is almost unusable now because of it.

    :)

    Conflicting Wi-Fi Messages

    Hi.
I have this problem trying to access a ASUS Win 10 computer on a local network.
I am getting these two messages:
One or more network protocols are missing on this computer
Windows Socket Registry Entries Required for Network Connectivity are Missing

I am told that the Wi-Fi is not connected, but the device status says it is working properly

My computer keeps loosing my Wi-Fi and displaying the message "Network adatper driver not... 62942d1485962888t-conflicting-wi-fi-messages-wifi.png

    Suggestions please?

  3. Wi-fi keeps crashing

    Hi,

There are several reasons why you cannot connect to Wi-Fi. It could be due to a poor network connection, network driver issues, router failure, etc. We would like to ask you a few information so we can isolate your concern:

    • Have you tried using a different device to connect to Wi-Fi? If so, were you able to connect without any issues?
    • Did you encounter any error messages?
    • Did you perform any troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue?

We'll keep an eye out for your response.

    Wi-Fi Networks Not Displaying

We thank you for the clarification about your Wi-Fi adapter. It could be that the adapter's driver might not be compatible with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, or that the driver itself may have been corrupted or damaged. We suggest that you check for the
latest drivers for your Wi-Fi adapter. Installing the latest driver for your device is usually the best policy to make sure all the latest fixes for your device are installed. Here's how to check for the latest drivers:

    • Press the Start button, then type device manager, and then select
Device Manager from the list of results.
    • In Device Manager, select Network adapters
      > the network adapter name.
    • Right-click the network adapter name, and select Update driver >
Search automatically for updated driver software. Follow the steps, then select
Close. If a new driver is found, it'll be downloaded and installed automatically.
    • After you install the updated driver, select the Start button >
Power > Restart. This will complete the installation of the driver. After restarting, see if you are able to see any available networks.

If a new driver isn't found, check the device manufacturer's website for the latest driver, download it, and then install it manually, and follow their instructions.

If the issue still persists, feel free to post back to us.
