Windows 10: Unexpected disconnection of remote desktop. Unable to use remote desktop. Error code: 0x4

My computer system version is: Windows 10 Enterprise Edition Version number: 22H2 Operating system internal version: 19045.3803 Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0 The problem I encountered. During the remote desktop connection, the connection window of the remote desktop was accidentally disconnected and closed due to a network failure. The next time you use remote desktop to connect to other computers, you cannot use remote desktop to connect, prompting error code: 0x4 Extended error code: 0x0 Tried to reset the network connection "netsh int ip reset" 'n

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated

 

Windows Remote Desktop Client fails to connect with error code 0x4 on only one of my computers

I encountered this error message while attempting to connect to a remote host on one of my PCs. I have two computers on the same LAN, and I can easily connect to the remote host using the Windows Remote Desktop client without any issues on my other PC. So this means the remote host is configured correctly.

All settings are identical with no firewall present. What might be causing this issue?

Please help me with the below details to understand your issue in a better way:

1. Are you using the Microsoft remote desktop app?
   

If you are using the Microsoft remote desktop app downloaded from
Microsoft store then, I suggest you to follow the steps to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.



If the issue still persists with the Microsoft remote desktop app, then you can contact the support team by going to the

link and scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on
Microsoft remote desktop support under the Publisher info.



However, if you are using the Remote desktop connection, which comes pre-installed with Windows 10, then I suggest you to please post your question in the
TechNet forum.
