is it possible to extend WSL2's video acceleration support for elder intel CPUs? since: * the elder intel 10th gen CPU Ice lake have the capability to do HEVC encoding and decoding Datashee* programs like ffmpeg can utilize hevc_qsv to accelerate video encoding* D3D12 seems to be a part of Windows's component/programit seems like: * Windows can utilize the HEVC encoding/decoding capability provided by CPU without any problem* WSL2 distro rely on d3d12_drv_video.so to do video accelerationbut:* according to this, it seems like the lowest supported intel driver version is 31.0.101.4032I wond

Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz and it is not listed as supported by Windows11 upgrade for Intel cpu match Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported Intel processors Is there a way we can expect future support for these processors by Microsoft for Windows 11 upgrade? What is the time frame? After all Intel can not dump all our CPUs without extending support, losing the market by buyer confidence

I see that the Intel Core i7-5500u 2.4Ghz is not supported in Windows 11. I see other Intel CPUs listed with less overall power than the i7. Does MS have any plans to expand the CPU supported list?

I was hoping to move from Win7 to Win10 but when a check is done for computer compatability I get the message -

Memory OK
Disk space OK

The CPU is an
" Intel(R) Core(TM)2 duo CPU E7400 @ 2,8GHz 2.79GHz

The message ends up suggesting that I shop for a new PC online.
