Windows 10: Can't update PC Something didnt go as planned ...

Hi I have Win 11 pro and I got an update to do When doing the update, all good its been downloaded and installed When I do the restart the update requires, it getting to exactly 38 % and then I get this message " Something didnt go as planned. No need to worry - undoing changes. Please keep your computer on"This restart taking 30 - 40 minutes and then, Im back to the desktop To make the same update again Please advise, thank you

Something didnt go as planned (KB5025239)

Everytime I try to update to (KB5025239), it gets to 96% and sits there for a bit and then shows "something didnt go as planned" and reverts the update. In settings it shows "Install error - 0x800f0922"

I've tried updating multiple times through the updater but it refuses to finish. I've tried using the update troubleshooter as well as using the media creation tool but I get "Failed to determine if your PC can install windows 11" even though I am on windows 11...

Which did not fix my issue either. Id rather not do a clean install of windows... I can also upload my CBS.log if that would help?

 

Power plan?

Upon checking, it seems that there's nothing wrong with your system. It is usual that you have to double-click your mouse before your monitor wakes up.

For the meantime, we suggest changing the power plan by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + S.
• Type in Power Settings.
• On the pop-up window, choose Additional power settings.
• Select High performance.

After changing the power plan, we suggest that you monitor the changes made and check if that will work for you.
