Windows 10: hi, my facial recognition and fingerprint options are unavailable and all sign in option....

I am a user of the Honor MagicBook 14 and a Microsoft system. I am experiencing an issue where the settings display "Facial recognition currently unavailable" and "Fingerprint option currently unavailable." This problem prevents me from using the biometric login features on my device, which are essential for security and ease of access.I have already reached out to Honor's support team to address this issue, but unfortunately, I have not received any response from them yet. Can I have fingerprint recognition and facial recognition simultaneously active as sign-in options?

I used to have fingerprint recognition on my laptop setup as a sign-in option. I then setup facial recognition as well. Now I can't sign-in using the fingerprint sensor. Is it possible to have both active? Sometimes one is more convenient than the other.

I tried to go to settings to turn fingerprint recognition on and it's listed as currently unavailable.

I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2.

Is there any way to fix these unavailable sign-in options like Facial Recognition, Fingerprint Recognition and PIN?

 

Sign in options unavailable?

I went into my sign-in options in settings and found that under facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, and pin it says "this option is currently unavailable." Underneath there is an exclamation mark with "something went wrong. Try again later." Also all the options to change my pin, add a fingerprint, etc. they are all greyed out. Pin and facial recognition still work. How do I fix this?
