    Since the 24H2 update, every morning my PC is switching to light mode on its own


    Like the title says, since the recent update Windows has started to switch to light mode whenever I turn it on in the morning default app mode is the one misbehaving. There were no change in recently installed applications I only installed Marvel Rivals through Steam. It's getting annoying to turn it back to dark mode EVERYTIME I turn the PC on in the morning.Anyone knows a fix around this please?*I tried attaching a screenshot but it kept giving me an error. The irony, lol.

    Switch on the Lights!

    I haven't yet tried your powershell idea, but this morning I found my reading pane had again reverted to white text on black background, and the 'light switch' icon had reappeared. When I checked the Personalisation settings I found Dark Mode in operation.
    Yesterday I had set this as Light Mode, so apparently the app decided to revert to Dark Mode as soon as I re-opened it this morning. A bit weird. Anyway, apart from this anomaly everything is working normally.

    Screen does not light up when laptop switched on

    My laptop was working fine when I switched on early this morning. However, when I switched on later, the screen was black although the various indicator lights were flashing, which suggested that the computer was working without a display. Suggestions
    please.

    Switching out of S Mode

    I am having trouble switching my laptop out of S Mode. I went through the steps that are listed, and the Windows Store is updated and it won't let me click Get when you go to the screen to switch out of S mode.
