  1. How do I disable this particular security warning message on my external HDD

So on my new HDD whenever I open archive files, try running an executable or move files specifically via drag-and-drop,I get this warning message that my "Internet Security Settings" blocked this action and makes me press okay in order to continuehttps://i.imgur.com/YR8ujwO.pngadding an imgur link here because directly attaching an image fails for some reasonI have NEVER had this issue before with my previous HDD or any other USB device and it's quite frankly pretty tedious to get every single time.So I'd like to get rid of just this particular warning message and not other forms o

Reg/batch to disable "Open File - Security Warning"

That's ok. To help clarify for everyone, which registry editing did you use and apply?

In addition, what error message are you trying to get rid of?

If you mean for the "Open-File Security Warning" message, then you could use the download in step 5 of OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to disable it.

Warning message when trying to disable Secure Boot on Dell 3280 AIO

I have created a Lucid Puppy Live Linux pendrive using Rufus and trying to boot from it on my Dell Inspiron 22-3280 AIO.

The flash drive will not show in the boot list with UEFI Mode Secure Boot on or UEFI Mode Secure Boot off ( selected in the Change Boot Mode setting that appears when pressing F12 Boot menu options)

When I enter into the BIOS setup > Boot menu and try to disable Secure Boot, the following warning message appears.

Does that really happen???? Will it corrupt Windows necessitating a reinstall?

I want to disable Secure Boot followed by enabling "Legacy Options ROMs" and "Attempt Legacy Boot" in an effort to boot from the Linux pendrive.

Will that be the right thing to do? Else what?

    external HDD

    Hi,

Usually, this problem occur due to software incompatibility or corrupted USB drivers. For us to better assist you, we would like to clarify the following:

    • Have you made any recent changes on your computer prior to the issue?
    • Which driver did you uninstall? Have you reinstall the driver? If yes, how did you reinstall the driver?
    • Have you check if the external HDD is visible in Device Manager?

If the issue still persists after uninstalling some games, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for hardware and devices. If you're using the latest Windows 10 version, follow these steps on how to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

    • Click the Start button and select the Settings
      icon.
    • Choose Update & Security from the list.
    • Click Troubleshoot in the left pane of the window.
    • Under Find and fix other problems, select Hardware and Devices and click
      Run the troubleshooter.

We're looking forward to your reply.
