Windows 10: PC freezes and reboots whilst gaming

Greetings!I purchased a new laptop AMD 7940HX, RTX 4070, 16 G DDR5 5600mhz ram, SN550 1TB SSD, but it randomly freezes and reboots when gaming sometimes it immediately crashes after 15 minutes of gaming, and other times the game runs completely fine for hours before it crashes. The laptop is running on the latest Windows 11, and all drivers are up to date. The crash reports gave me codes 0*0000001a and 0*0000001e. The game that I was playing was Battlefield 2042.I doubt it that it was a problem with the hardware because the PC is fine after running 30 minutes of furmark+aida64; a stress te

Step 2: I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the game in compatibility mode. Check if it helps.

1. Right-click on the game setup file and click on ‘Properties’'.

2. Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7, 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the
computer and check if the issue persists.

• Is the issue is with specific game or all game; Please specify in which game are you facing the issue?
• From where exactly have you installed game e.g. Store or Browser?

Install game in Compatibility mode if you have installed game from browser and check if that helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install gamein compatibility mode:

1. Download the gamefrom the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the gameand select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

Thank you, I fixed prob by clean install of older nvidia drivers. Have marked your 'Step 1' down for future ref
