Wifi connects for exactly 2 minutes then disconnects in Windows 10. I have tried flushing dns, uninstalling the driver, even tried to reset windows. Issue not yet resolved. Kindly help

I understand that you're experiencing an issue where your Wi-Fi connection on your desktop computer disconnects after exactly 2 minutes. When did this issue start? Are you experiencing this issue with only one specific Wi-Fi network, or does it happen with multiple networks? Are other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network experiencing any similar connection problems?

Please try the following steps and see if that helps

Run the Network commands

Press Windows key + X, and select Windows Admin PowerShell.

In the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:

Type netsh winsock reset and select Enter.

Type netsh int ip reset and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /release and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /renew and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /flushdns and select Enter.

Restart the computer and then check.

If the issue persists, reinstall the Network driver

Press the Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.

Expand Network adapters, and locate the network adapter for your device.

Select the network adapter, press, and hold (or right-click), and then select Uninstall device > check the Attempt to remove the driver for this device check box > Uninstall.

After uninstalling the driver, select Start > Power > Restart.

my son laptiop wifi disconnect after 5 minutes

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.

This issue started about 2 days ago on my desktop, as far as i'm concerned it happens when i try to connect to any wifi as well as only happening on this device. I did both solutions you suggested but still have the same issue persist.
