I saved all of the settings I changed. If his CPU isn't under load it sounds like SpeedStep, which lowers you voltages and clock speed in various steps depending on the load. For example, my CPU will sit at 1.5Ghz idle (x12 multi), and will step up to various different frequencies. So unless your fully loading your machine or if you disable power saving features, the CPU clock is going to go down on its own. This isn't a bad thing, it saves power and reduces heat, but you might not be able to overclock as high if the machine becomes unstable in a low power state because of the different frequencies and voltages.

 

Powerplay disabling when changing Clock voltage setting

Hi, Thanks for the great software *Smile

I have a quick question, Whenever I change clock voltage power settings under Clock-/Voltage
Just for profile 00 (3D clock) Powerplay gets disabled.

The bios works fine and boots up, but is stuck in 3D clocks & voltages...

Am i doing something wrong here? I can change that voltage with the GPU Registers and not have powerplay disabled but it's not working properly and I think that's my missing link.

Please advise, thanks!
