Windows 10: why after I reset my laptop does it encounter an unexpected restart and how to fix it?

my laptop after I reset it started re installing windows, restarted and now says "the computer restarted unexpectedly" please help

Error - Unexpected I/O error encountered while trying to reset PC

I am trying to run the option reset PC in order to recycle the laptop. However, reset PC option encounters an error - "Unexpected I/O error 0xc00000e9. This
error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device while the device is in use. Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer."

I encounter the same error while trying to run startup repair also. Is there any way to rectify this error and reset the PC?

after resetting my Lenovo laptop and while windows installation it shows me " the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected or encountered an unexpected error windows installation cannot proceed. to install windows click OK to restart the computer and then restart the computer and then restart the installation"
