Windows 10: W+A/D not working at the same time but S+A/D does games

Using the same Keyboard since foreverabout 10+ Years and this problem randomly propped up today. I don't have a Fn Key, so that problem is off the table.

My W and D key don't work at the same time.

I got on my game and when I went to move using w and d at the same time to go diagonally, I realized that they wouldn't both work at the same time. The weirdest thing about it is that the W and D key work individually but they don't work together. Also this may be an unrelated problem but I just noticed as I'm typing this that my shift and 9 key don't work at the same time because I was trying to type something in parentheses. Basically, my D and W key don't work at the same time, but they do individually, and it is the same problem with my shift and 9 key.

 

D drive

• Type-in the following command:
  
  attrib -h -r -s /s /d D:\*.*
• Press Enter to execute the command.

If you think that there is nothing important stored in it, then we suggest that you reformat your D drive so that you can use the free space for important files.

You can follow the steps below to start with the process:

• Click on the File Explorer.
• Select This PC.
• Right-click on your D drive, then click on Format.
• Follow the on-screen process to finish formatting the partition.

Take it one step at a time and you will be fine . .

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Paste each of these 3 commands into Command Prompt, one at a time and hit Enter

takeown /F "D:\WindowsApps" /A /R /D Y

icacls "D:\WindowsApps" /T /grant administrators:F

rmdir /s /q "D:\WindowsApps"

Then close Command Prompt and restart (not shut down) your PC . . .
