Windows 10: Windows 11 Restarts whenever a definition and "other" update occurs.

Hi everyone.For the last few months, my pc has been restarting after EVERY KB2267602 update and EVERY KB5035942 update. I have done a fresh install, but I still run into this issue. Now, it does not restart whilst I am playing games, but if I am programming, listening to music, or watching series, it will restart. Has anybody experienced this before? Please let me know. This is truly bugging me.

I have literally just installed the definition update KB2267602 without any problem. I suggest as a first step checking all the Windows Defender settings to make sure they all have the 'green ticks' in each section.






ps. The only reason the 'Family Options' is not ticked is because I am the only user on my computer.

I also would suggest running the 'Troubleshoot' feature in the Update & Security settings which has a section dealing with update problems.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
