Windows 10: Computer keeps crashing when playing games - Watchdog Timeout

I have had this issue on both Windows 10 and 11. My computer often crashes when a game e.x. Witcher 3, Path of Exile 2 is loading a new zone/game elements. Near as I can tell, it is not an overheating issue. I have used Microsoft Memory Diagnostics and MemTest86 through my BIOS and found no issues there. I cannot find what is causing these crashes. BSOD Clock Watchdog Timeout

So the past few weeks i have been experiencing the clock watchdog timeout bsod while trying to play specific games. others work just fine for hours but some crash while on a loading screen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few things i've tried:

• DDU wipe
  
• windows memory test
  
• sys /scannow for corrupt files
  
• reset bios (I still kept rebar on but did not enable xmp)
  
• full anti virus scan
  

PC specs:

gigabyte z690 gaming x ddr4

pny 3070 lhr

4x8gb corsair ram
