Windows 10: Windows Background on 24H2 won't stay set

My system info:Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 Installed on ‎12/‎2/‎2024 OS build 26100.2605 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.36.0 Since installing 24H2, no matter what I do, my Windows background reverts to what appears to be a random, daily picture. I've tried changing Personalization to the various options, but each time I sign in, it forces it back to the random daily picture, even if I've set it to "Windows Spotlight". I followed the instructions for the "Local Group Policy Editor", but it only prevents me from making new changes while it forces a new picture - so

Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

The possible reason why Update apps automatically turn back on is that the Store app is running in the background. We suggest that you turn off the Store app. This way, it won't receive any updates or send notifications unless opened or turned on
manually.

To turn off Store app, follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo, then go to Settings.
• Click Privacy, then Background apps.
  
• On the list, locate Store and toggle it off.

Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

In Settings in Store I set "Update apps automatically" to Off.

When I go back in again it`s set back to On. Why won`t it stay switched Off?

How do I get this stupid **** to DO WHAT I TELL IT and SWITCH OFF?

What`s the point of having a Setting that you can`t Set?

 

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!
