Windows 10: power/laptop intermittenly not shutting down overnight

dell told me to look at fast start up which I can't even find and to turn it off as it might be interfering with laptop not shutting down sometimes overnight. I dont' see why that would be the case after four years of owning it. I've inserted my power settings whiich were set by a computer expert and the laptop was turning off eventually over night after going into sleep. I did do a recent update of the Dell Power management. All window updates are on. Ideas?

I tried that and it hasn't helped. Thanks for the suggestion. Wondering if there's a setting that would deny the laptop shutting down unless I actively select 'shutdown'. It never used to shut down overnight for all the months I've had this computer and
only started in a past several days.

Any other steps I can take.
