Windows 10: Windows keep try to install old intel display drivers on brand new install of Win11 24H2 -...

As described.Fresh install of new laptop, with latest driver downloaded from Intel.com - 11th gen Lenovo Thinkpad, windows update keep trying to install old intel drivers over latest drivers from Intel. Corrupted drivers once, so I did new install of drivers from Intel - and it now keeps trying to install intel drivers again from wupdate.Now this is problem for several computers I have installed latety, making the USB-C dock keep disconnecting and unable to use external screens until I reinstalled drivers from Intel again.This is a WUpdate issue.

New Set up, Windows Install/Driver Install

Hi, So I've transferred my rig over to my new I7, however I've run into an anomally.

since it booted into windows I thought I'd try without a reformat, I run Guru3D driver cleaner and got rid of all the AMD drivers but for some reason I can't seem to install any Intel HD display drivers for the onboard GPU.

I'm only using the GPU for a month till my card is returned from RMA but still....

Best to just format with a new windows Install, annoying thing is I used a Win7 upgrade disk so have to install Vista then 7,

Even if I try to install the drivers from the disk it says "your computer doesn't reach the minimum system requirements"

Any other suggestions, I find it difficult enough just trying to find drivers and the automatic driver search on Intels site doesn't pick it up.

so do I bite the bullet and wipe her? or work it out someway else.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
