  1. BSOD after installing a new SSD

Hi everyone,I have just installed a new SSD for my laptop, which I have check it to be compatible with, but now randomly the BSOD appears and I do not know what the problem is. The new SSD is not my windows drive disk, just an additional drive. I have also check online that no firmware update is needed. The report from the reliability report is as follows: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a 0x0000000000000005, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80147a2c2e9. A

Z Book BSOD with Second SSD Drive

    Hi all

I have an issue with an HP Z Book. It is a new Generation 6 device and came with a pre-installed second SSD drive.

All worked fine until I tried to put our corporate image onto the primary OS SSD.

Firstly, the new OS installed onto the secondary SSD rather than the primary.

So I disconnected/removed the secondary, recreated the partition on the primary and loaded our stock OS.

The machine now works absolutely fine, as long as I do not try to re-introduce the second SSD drive.

If I reinstall this, the machine boots up OK for a second or two and then BSOD's.

Can anyone suggest the reason for this issue - the BSOD message reported a kernel error.

Any ideas on steps to take to resolve this?

    Thanks

    Phil

  3. BSOD’s after installing new SSD?

    Hello!

I recently installed a new SSD into my Desktop PC (due to my original boot SSD running low on storage) and now it only boots up to a BSOD.

Stop code: BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO

It ran perfectly fine for the first week or so, but now it simply won’t let me into my PC.

I unplugged the new SSD to see if it would boot up correctly without it, but it boots up to the same BSOD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

LMK if any other info is necessary!

    Thanks in advance,

    Neo

BSOD after installing a new SSD

Issues with installation of new MSATA SSD

Yes it was a clean install on a new SSD. The laptop boots into windows fine. As mentioned in the earlier posts I'm trying to get the BIOS to see the new SSD as UEFI and not Legacy as it originally did when I installed the SSD and installed windows. I changed it from MBR to GPT from the windows installation screen and have since followed the steps above to allocate the drive an EFI partition, the drive itself still isn't seen under UEFI boot options in the BIOS itself though and I'd imagine it may be the final steps listed that may resolve this but for it doesn't want to allow it. I'm happy to post pictures, could you be a bit more specific as to what you'd like me to post. Thanks Daniel
