Windows 10: Getting OEM Product key

Hello. The sticker under my device that contained my device’s key became unclear and i cant see the key. My laptop originally came with windows 7 but i was using 10. This morning i used the manufacturer’s tool to get back to the factory image Windows 7. Now it shows that windows is activated and the Product id contains “OEM”. Is there anyway to get the actual key in the sticker that i can use to activate windows 10

Product key didnt work from OEM

using the generic key to update the windows OS to 11 Pro - it was accepted and i was able to change the generic key to our OEM product key, however, per checking in registry the product key different from the one i entered (OEM key).

Toshiba would have been the ones who offered your Downgrade rights as that is a requirement for Windows 8.1 to use Downgrade Rights.

I suggest that you contact them.

The following OEM versions of Windows software are eligible for downgrade rights.

Note downgrade rights are only available as long as Microsoft provides support for that earlier version,

Steps for an end user to downgrade Windows software

To downgrade eligible Windows software, end users must:

• Purchase a PC preinstalled with Windows software.
• Accept the Microsoft Software License Terms.
• Perform the downgrade process to the eligible downgrade product using the media/key from a genuine, previously licensed OEM or retail product.

OEM Product Key - Tool Available To Reveal It

I havn't tried that one, but have a look at Belarq. Finds all the software keys on your computer, including the OEM, and a very comprehensive list of your hardware etc.
