  1. How do I Force Enable ReadyBoost without EMDMgmt?

I want to ask how to force enable ReadyBoost for a USB Flash drive if I don't have EMDMgmt. I have a SanDisk Ultra 3.0 64Gig USB and a Windows 10 4 GB HP computer. I couldn't update to windows 11 because it doesn't meet the system requirements.

  2. EMDMgmt nowhere to be found in the Registry

So I wanted to enable readyboost on my laptop but it says that my laptop is already fast enough and all of the ways to enable readyboost forcefully include a folder in the registry 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\EMDMgmt' but the EMDMgmt is nowhere to be found in the registry. Please HELP!

  3. I'm unable to enable ReadyBoost

    Hi,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll try to help you.

ReadyBoost management interface is removed in Windows 11 unfortunately.

You may create ReadyBoost's file in Windows 10 and then use this drive in Windows 11. I've did this some time ago, but do not remember if I did changes in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\EMDMgmt registry branch.

Don't hesitate to ask additional questions.

How do I Force Enable ReadyBoost without EMDMgmt?

EMDMgmt nowhere to be found in the Registry

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you have an SSD drive in your laptop you cannot enable ReadyBoost even with a registry Edit, because Windows will use Virtual Memory on the SSD, because it is much faster than USB drive access and using ReadyBoost would actually slow your laptop down.

If you do want to continue with that registry editing tutorial you are following, you can right click the 'Current Version' key (folder) in the left pane of the registry and select New - Key and name it EMDMgmt
