    Problem reverting work laptop to private laptop: Windows Enterprise to Home


    I have a private laptop that was used for work, and joined to the domain with Intune. It was then moved off the domain. Both by deleting the Intune entry and by disconnecting the device from the work connection on the device. My first problem was that I could not activate a Microsoft 365 family subscription. I decided to do a reset. Now when it busy setting up, it is asking for a work or school email. While I do have a work email, that is what I want to avoid, due to issues with the Microsoft 365 family plan activation. I do recollect that Windows was upgraded to Education/Enterprise version

    windows 10 enterprise updates not installing on private laptop


    I bought a HP laptop via the internet and it came with windows 10 enterprise (no idea why) The problem with enterprise is that it will not install any updates, it keeps telling me to contact the system manager. If there is a solution for that I can keep the enterprise version. Any suggestions?
    Otherwise I would like to downgrade to Windows 10 professional or home. What are the options for that?
