Windows 10: using custom folder icons...

Hello,The following snapshot is from a folder in File Explorer, where I have managed to display custom icons for each one of the sub-folders, using a folderArt.ico and creating the appropriate Desktop.ini file with the entries:[.ShellClassInfo]IconFile=folderArt.icoIconIndex=0InfoTip=As you can see all look fine —but four.In fact, after some tests even Windows can't create a Desktop.ini file in these four folders. For example, when I choose a different appearance under Properties > Customize > Optimize this folder for, the system should create a Desktop.ini with something like that in i

I want to change a few folders icons and fix the icon to the folder so if its moved to other computers the icon wont change is there any way of doing this thanks,

thanks, well i know how to change a folder icon i just want to know a way i can make it stick permanently so i can more it with out the folder converting back to the default icon.
