My problem is that I don't believe I have a work or school account.When I follow the link in the message, I am redirected to Microsoft, where I am asked to log in to my work or school account. When I click on "forgot password" I only get the option to use the authorization app. A code is sent to the authorization app, but I do not receive anything in the app. If I log in to my personal account,

A Windows password should not expire.

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

Select Emails and Accounts, is there is a work or school Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is there is a work or school Email listed there?

 

Unable to Remove Expired School Account from Windows in Windows 11

Hello-

I get daily alerts from Windows that there has been an issue syncing a school account.

I have followed numerous tutorial steps for removing the school account from my windows profile -- but the school email is expired and no longer exists. The option to simply delete the account will not complete without me successfully signing in to the account -- but selecting the "I cannot access this account" option fails, because my university email account is old enough that the school has purged it.
