    I've tried a myriad of solutions to try solving my problem, but nothing I've done has helped in any way. I've deleted and reinstalled the store using Powershell, tried changing advanced options in Apps & Features, and looked at several other threads regarding 0x80073CFE for solutions, but all to no avail.Some of the other symptoms I've seen is that the microsoft store doesn't appear anywhere within my apps and features list so I'm unable to access advanced settings to try resetting it, and when I conduct a troubleshoot scan on the microsoft store, I'm told that issues were detected with

    I cannot download/update any apps from the store on this particular computer. It downloads 3.5mB and errors out with 0x80073CFE.

    I've done the wsreset and rebooted - error 0x80073CFE

    logged out of the microsoft account, clicked download to prompt login - error 0x80073CFE

    Reset the store through add/remove programs, rebooted - error 0x80073CFE

    Uninstalled store through powershell, rebooted, reinstalled through powershell, rebooted - error 0x80073CFE

    Created a new user account - error 0x80073CFE
    sfc is fine

    dism is fine

    using windows antivirus with no special rules or exceptions.

    nothing windows is blocked in firewall or hosts file.

    UAC is on

    Pin is set

    I used another computer that has the same microsoft account associated with it's product key and downloads/updates work fine.

    Any clues?

    w10pro 1909 up to date.

    0x80073CFE means the package repository is corrupted.

    Open PowerShell as administrator and run this command:



    • get-appxpackage | out-file c:\apps.txt

    And then run:



    • GCI -Path "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\" -Recurse | Where {$_.Length -eq 0} | out-file c:\corrupt.txt

    Upload the files c:\apps.txt & c:\corrupt.txt to your OneDrive and share the link here.

    Also, what's the version of your Store app?
