Windows 10: "I forgot my PIN" link not working

I'm trying to login to my computer and have forgotten my PIN, but each time I clink on the "I forgot my PIN" link it sends me in a loop back to the home page. I have tried going through my account online and haven't been able.to.change the PIN. I have restarted my computer multiple times without change. I have tried contacting support over the phone but it won't let me through to an operator/representative and keeps hanging up on me.

Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

Try the steps here:

• Navigate to PC Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options. Click on I forgot my PIN link.
• Next, click on the Continue button in the Are you sure you forgot your PIN? screen.
• You can now add a new PIN and click OK.

 

PIN stoped working for no reason

Hi Anturaju,

You can use PIN to add more security to your account. If you forgot your PIN, you can change it by doing the steps below:

• Press Windows + I to open Windows Settings.
• Click Accounts.
• Click Sign-in options.
• Click the link I forgot my PIN to prompt you to another window.
• Click Continue to start resetting your forgotten PIN.
• In Set up a PIN window, type your desired PIN in
  New PIN and Confirm PIN.
• Click OK to finish.

Please inform us if you have successfully established a new PIN in your account.

 

"forgot my pin" link missing on Hello page

My wife forgot her sign-in PIN for the Win 10 entry page. Unfortunately, the "forgot my PIN" link is missing. Anyone have an idea as to what we can do?
