Windows 10: PC LAN cable 10x slower then WiFi + Internet drop out

Hi, I have a weird one.So, my internet has been dropping out on me randomly. Only a reset fixes this. it loses connection to my LAN cable and Wifi network and doesn't recognise them. Additionally, with listing connection my PC soon starts to stutter and then freeze, not recognising CTL ALT Delete or any other commandsI soon realised my LAN cable was 10x slower than my Wi-Fi. I've been fiddling with Drivers and have no chance to connect to my LAN, but while my Ethernet is unplugged, my Wi-Fi driver is rolled back, and it will hold the actual speed.I could do it with some help, but this is getti

LAN cable disconnecting WIFI

We have just received our new DTF printer which users a LAN cable to connect this to the laptop. How ever when we connect this to the port it automatically disconnects the WiFi. This seem to be getting the priority over WiFi. The printer doesn't need a Internet connect just the laptop to run the software. How can we stop this and just use the LAN for a connection pc to printer.

 

Lan Cable - does it go defective ??down to 100M slower than Wifi

Do the LAN connectors on a Router go defective - or does the wiring also fail.

I've 2 LAN connectors wried up -- I noticed on both of the computers the LAN led switched from Green (1G) to Orange (100M),

Find it strange that TWO LAN connections on different computers should BOTH go slow.

Still got better theoretical connection via 5GHZ Wifi -- which should be BONKERS !!!!

I suggest you connect your laptop to the router with a ethernet cable. If the wired connection is stable you know that there is nothing wrong with the internet connection itself and with your LAN. Next step would be to go to the website of your laptop manufacturer and look for the latest WLAN drivers. Install them and test whether it improves the reliability of your WLAN connection. Then post back the results.
