Windows 10: I have a window pop up saying to call +1-888-811-0408 is this legit

Its not letting me do anything and saying not to do anything and to call

Is this legit MSFT tech support # 1 888 445 4887?

I was searching the web, suddenly a message appear:

"Message from webpage - Your computer may be infected with a virus/Malware. Please contact Microsoft technicians to rectify the issue. Please do not open internet browser for your security to avoid corruption on your registry of your operating system. Please
contact Microsoft technician at tollfree helpline at 1 888 445 4887"

the message would not go away until I used "End Task" via ctrl-alt-del". I called this number and talked some one, he seemed legit asking some basic questions about my computer system. But when he suggested accessing my computer, I declined. Has anyone else
had this problem? is the # indeed Microsoft support?

I received a pop up that my browser was infect to contact Microsoft at 1-888-251-9588

 

pop-up message saying Microsoft Technicians have found a computer virus and I need to call 1-888-xxx-xxxx

I have received a pop-up window saying that I need to contact "Microsoft Computer Technicians" now at 1-888-xxx-xxxx since a virus has been detected on my computer after going to a certain link. True or not true?
