Windows 10: why is my personal windows 11 pc home version now logging me in with a wsi account at every...

The 24h2 download failed the first time and my pc said at login that it wasn't connected to the internet when it was. I had to go back to the 23h2 download then tried the 24h2 download again and it was successful. After that I noticed that the option for improved security only allow hello sign in for microsoft accounts on this device is turned on and greyed out. My pc is logging in only with the wsi account. I have only a personal pc and no work/school account. I am attaching some screenshots.

Windows 11 Enterprise will not let me log into my PC with personal account

My PC, which formerly was using a personal account, had to be reset. In the process, I lost the ability to log into my computer using my personal account. It is only letting me log into the PC using my work account. This PC is NOT, I repeat NOT my company's computer; it is mine. But, I'm guessing that because it has an Enterprise version of Windows associated with it, I can't use my personal, Microsoft account to log in. I need the ability to log into the machine using my personal account. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Interestingly, when I upgraded it from Windows 10 to 11, I didn't have this problem. It only happened when I reset the computer. Please help.

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

Gmail
Outlook

The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!
